What is a sequencer?
A device or software that allows you to record, play back and edit musical sounds
and patterns. You can combine sounds or tracks to create a piece of music in
a sequencer. This means you can record your vocals, a guitar, drum’s, anything
you wish. These sounds can be audio or midi. Audio often requires a microphone
to record. Midi is an electronic sound that can be recorded straight into the
sequencer or computer. Find out more at WIKIPEDIA.
Examples of Sequencers - Logic, Cubase,
Garageband, Audacity, Cakewalk, Reason, Ejay, Acid. Sonar, Performer. |
